Hair Care

"Proper hair care after a hair extension procedure is essential to maintain the health of both your natural hair and the extensions. It helps prevent tangling, breakage, and slippage of the bonds, ensuring the extensions stay secure, look natural, and last longer. Regular care also protects your scalp and supports a comfortable, damage-free wear"

01

Hair Washing

Wash your hair standing upright, use a gentle shampoo, and avoid scrubbing the roots.

– Always wash your hair in an upright position — do not tilt your head forward to prevent tangling of capsules or tapes.
– Use sulfate-free and silicone-free shampoos — these are gentle on extension bonds.
– Dilute the shampoo with water in your palms before applying.
– Apply along the partings using gentle fingertip motions.
– Do not twist your hair into a bun or scrub it as you would during a typical wash.
– Rinse thoroughly with warm water, paying extra attention to the attachment areas.

02

Brushing

Brush twice daily, starting from the ends and working upward.

– Use only special brushes with soft, flexible bristles (without rounded tips).
– Never start brushing from the roots — always work from the ends up.
– Hold your hair near the roots with your hand to avoid pulling on the extensions.
– Brushing in the morning and evening is essential to prevent tangling.
– After a shower, brush only once the hair is partially dry — never when soaking wet.

03

Sleeping

Braid your hair and use the right pillowcase.

– Before bed, loosely braid your hair or tie it into a soft ponytail or bun.
– Never go to sleep with wet or damp hair — this greatly increases the risk of tangling.
– Use only silk or satin pillowcases — cotton can damage the hair structure and cause friction.
– If you’re new to wearing extensions, consider sleeping in a lightweight protective net or cap.

04

Styling and Care

Always use heat protection; apply oils only to the lengths, avoid heat near the roots.

– Always apply a heat protectant before using a blow dryer, straightener, or curling iron.
– Do not apply styling products (mousse, sprays, etc.) to the roots.
– Hair masks and oils should only be used from mid-length to ends — never near the bonds.
– Use gentle heat settings: no higher than 180–200°C (350–390°F).
– Never tease or backcomb at the roots.

Correction (Maintenance)

Mandatory every 6–8 weeks!

– Even if everything looks fine, regular refitting is essential to avoid tangling and protect your natural hair.
– During the maintenance session, the stylist will remove, clean, and reattach the extensions closer to the roots.
– Skipping maintenance may cause hair to pull out or form knots near the scalp.
– Consistent care ensures your extensions stay beautiful and safe to wear.
